Jeffrey P. Steinig, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Steinig, a native of Buffalo, did his undergraduate studies at Canisius College. He received his M.D. from SUNY @ Buffalo School of Medicine. His post-doctoral surgical training was completed at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

Joining South Towns Surgical Associates in 1995, Dr. Steinig specializes in vascular surgery, laparoscopic ventral hernia repair and inguinal hernia repair utilizing a new technique using the Gore bioabsorbable plug that results in quicker recuperation and less post-operative pain.

Dr. Steinig is board certified in general surgery by the American College of Surgeons and is a member of:
