Kenneth Eckhert III, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Kenneth Eckhert III joined South Towns Surgical Associates in 2006 after completing a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery. Since coming to Buffalo he has pioneered the use of SILS™ for general surgery.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he received his BS from University of Dayton. After graduating from Memorial University of Newfoundland Medical School in 2000 he completed his residency training at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y. In addition, Dr. Eckhert III completed a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at Albany Medical Center.
Board certified by the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Eckhert III specializes in minimally invasive surgery:

Dr. Eckhert III is Chairman of the Robotic Surgical Society of South Buffalo Mercy Hospital,a member of the Buffalo Surgical Society and the Pain Committee at Buffalo Mercy Hospital. He makes annual expeditions to Haiti as President for Friends of Good Samaritan performing surgery for those in need.
